Mrs. Evans has a B.A. in English from Davidson College with a concentration in Art History. She served as a Teaching Fellow at Phillips Academy (Andover) in Massachusetts, followed by graduate school at Auburn University where she received her M.Ed. in Secondary English Education.  She was formerly employed as an English Instructor at Vestavia Hills High School, followed by several years of writing instruction and homeschooling her two children, one of whom is now a sophomore at ASFA.  Mrs. Evans is also the co-owner of an off-grid eco-retreat and enjoys saying the prologue to The Canterbury Tales as her party trick.
