• What Your Gift Can Do

Every gift to ASFA is a gift of inspiration to an ASFA student. Because of your support, our students create art, expand science, and explore their unique talents. They successfully compete and win statewide and national awards. They learn to balance creativity and discipline and gain understanding and respect for all the arts and sciences - not just their own areas of talent. They learn the importance of teamwork, support each other through tough challenges, and form friendships that endure for a lifetime. Invest in the future and invest in our students with a gift today.

Giving Funds Descriptions

  • Campaign Description

From the beginning ASFA has relied on contributions from arts, education and community leaders to offer the exceptional opportunities it does to a diverse and talented student body. Individual, corporate and foundation donations built every stage and wing of the campus. And now more than $800,000 in annual support pays for important resources beyond the State Budget.

Unrestricted gifts to the Annual Fund give ASFA the most flexibility.

    Your gifts support:

Program Excellence (all 6 specialty departments benefit: guest artists, residencies, supplies, equipment)

Direct Student Support (financial aid for fees, summer intensive scholarships, and food security)

Campus Improvements (big projects like the new dishroom in the cafeteria and renovations to specialty spaces)

Mission Support (the ASFA magazine, reaching excellent students throughout the State, and community engagement)

Independence (for example, a Namibia trip for 40 music and theater arts students, hosting the national Arts Schools Networks' conference and sending students to the International Association of Blacks in Dance Conference)
