Alabama School of Fine Arts is a cultural hub for the state and we aim to share all of the incredible knowledge and talent of our community through field trips, performance outreach, acts of service, offering summer camps, and hosting tournaments for surrounding schools. 

Students and adults from across the state are invited to attend Alabama School of Fine Arts (ASFA) events by guest artists, teachers, and students in our DJD, Black Box, and Recital Hall theaters. Our programs are promoted to and through public and private schools and media outlets in every county.

In 2020-2021, we expanded our overall reach throughout the state of Alabama through live streams and videos on demand. Our goal is to have students from all Alabama counties attend our professional performances and presentations or be able to access them remotely. In 2021-2022, ASFA will offer both in-person and digital performances and presentations, create workshops and lectures that can be accessed remotely, and work to bring professional performing artists to areas of Alabama where arts access is limited.
